A Tough Road to Hoe

I apologize for my long absence. Last year was a bit of a difficult year for me. And it is now just me, not us, in terms of the humans of this household. My significant other and I parted ways last year, and he was a source of inspiration for this blog.

I also missed this blog’s three-year anniversary (March 3), which was last week! But onto the boys.

The boys slept a lot this winter, in unusual places.

They took over the couch.

They enjoyed some of the unusually warm winter days we had.

And behaved like the hooligans angels they are.

Mostly they’re hoping for an early spring, so that they can enjoy more open windows!

Quotes of the Day

A smile is the light in your window that tells others that there is a caring, sharing person inside. (Denis Waitley)

One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon instead of enjoying the roses that are blooming outside our windows today. (Dale Carnegie)

What you really want for yourself is always trying to break through, just as a cooling breeze flows through an open window on a hot day. Your part is to open the windows of your mind. (Vernon Howard)

  1. I’m sorry you had a rough 2015, I sincerely sympathize with what you went through. That being said, I’m glad you are back blogging and looking forward to a happy 2016 with your “kids”.

  2. Hope things are looking up for all of you – it’s tough to go through upheaval of any kind but “ONWARD” is the word of the day. It’s good to have you back in the blogosphere – happy belated blogaversary too!

    Hugs, Sammy
