Soft kitty, naughty kitty

Someone’s been a bad boy. I went out and came home to this.

What is that blue and black strip, you might ask? That is the roll of plastic doggy poop bags (unused, of course!) that were on the counter in the kitchen.

This is the culprit inspecting his work.

One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor.

The floor is so cool.

Have we mentioned how cool the floor is? And how the towel got onto the floor? (Hint: It wasn’t Kobi’s or the dog’s fault!)

Title quote from George Carlin.

When someone loves you….

We had a little scare with HMC. We had taken him to the vet’s a couple of weeks ago, suspecting something was wrong with his teeth, but she found nothing. However, his behavior was still off; he was still worrying at his mouth and drooling. We took HMC back to the vet’s this week, and she found a loose tooth. This was scary, as we might have had to put HMC under anesthesia–a very risky proposition for a 21 and 1/2 year old cat, However, the vet took him into the back, and was able to take out the tooth with the help of a vet tech. Hurrah! HMC is now on antibiotics and is doing quite well. He is eating, sleeping in his catcave, and howling at the ceiling again.
